Alqueva - Branding - Place Real Estate

EDIA, as the managing body of the Alqueva multi-purpose enterprise, launched the challenge for the creation of the new Alqueva territorial brand - highlighting the fact that it is the European territory with the greatest potential for sustainable development and competitiveness for the agricultural and agri-food sectors. Born was the chosen partner for the development of the project, which included not only the creation of the brand and its graphic line but also all the strategic component that went through the definition of the positioning, signature creation and communication strategy.

Alqueva, a new land of water is the brand that gives a new life to the region, a life that rises from the earth and the sun in communion with water.

The Alqueva, located in the middle of the Alentejo, had a direct influence, either in the municipalities covered by the Alqueva reservoir, or in those that benefit from the installation of new irrigation perimeters or are served by public supply.

The lack of water in this region has been, over the years, one of the main constraints to its development, preventing the modernisation of agriculture and the sustainability of public supply.

This project has given a new opportunity to the population and entrepreneurs of this region.
